How to link to an external PDF file from a topic of my help file

I have created a help file with HelpSmith, in which I want to reference the users to additional information that is available in external PDF documents.

How can I link to an external PDF document?

To link to an external PDF file from your HTML Help (CHM) file, or from a Web Help system:

  1. You should upload the PDF documents to your web server.
  2. Use hyperlinks of the "Web Page" type that allow you to link to an external document by its URL address.
