Changing the style of active hyperlinks

In my help project, the hyperlink styles (Hyperlink, Active Hyperlink) seem to be correct. But when I hover over hyperlinks in the compiled help system, some of the hyperlinks are not highlighted with the "Active Hyperlink" style.

some of the hyperlinks are not highlighted with the "Active Hyperlink" style.

While the Hyperlink and Active Hyperlink styles are used as default (standard) styles for hyperlinks, it is also possible to set other styles for individual hyperlinks.

I assume that some hyperlinks in your help project can be linked to other styles.

To edit the styles used by a specific hyperlink:

  1. In the word processor, double-click on the hyperlink to edit its properties.
  2. In the Edit Hyperlink dialog, click the Style button.
  3. Use the Change buttons to set the styles for the regular and active (hover) states of the hyperlink.
  4. Click OK.

Please also note that when you create a new hyperlink (by clicking Insert|Hyperlink), HelpSmith uses the styles that you set for a previous hyperlink as default setting.

In other words, if you applied other styles to some hyperlink, it could change the default style settings for the next hyperlink.
