How do I translate layout texts?

I'm translating a copy my help project into a different language as explained in the HelpSmith's manual here.

It seems to work fine, but I'm wondering if it is possible to display the texts like the "Table of Contents", "Index", etc. in a different language? How do I translate these texts?

Thanks!

Yes, HelpSmith allows you to change or translate these texts as well.

Translating text labels of the Web Help layout

To edit the text labels used by the Web Help layout:

  1. On the Project tab, click Project Options.
  2. In the Project Options window, in the left sidebar, select the Web Help|Text Labels section.
  3. In the table, edit the text labels according to your needs.
  4. Click OK.

Translating text labels in the Printed Manual document

Similarly, you can edit the titles displayed by the automatically generated pages (e.g. Front Page, Table of Contents, Index, etc.) in the Printed Manual and PDF formats:

  1. On the Project tab, click Project Options.
  2. In the Project Options window, in the left sidebar, select the Printed Manual|Contents, Printed Manual|Index, or another section that you need.
  3. Edit the title according to your needs.
  4. Click OK.
