How to change the style of hyperlinks in my project?

I have modified the Hyperlink and Active Hyperlink styles on the Styles pane (View|Styles), but none of the existing hyperlinks in my help project have been updated: they still have the old style.

How can I change the style of existing hyperlinks in my project?

I assume the hyperlinks in your help project are linked with another style.

You can check this as follows:

  1. In the word processor, double-click on a hyperlink to edit its properties.
  2. In the Edit Hyperlink window, in the bottom, click the Style button.
  3. In the "Hyperlink Style" window, use the Change buttons to see what styles the hyperlink is actually linked with.
  4. In the Styles window, you can modify settings of the style by clicking Modify.

Please also note that the Styles pane (View tab|Styles) in the HelpSmith's main window hides the automatically created styles by default.

To show all the styles:

File|Options|Styles
